This week Bernie is in Lisbon, Portugal at the European Coworking event Copass Camp
He took time to sit down and talk about coworking spaces with Ramon Suarez, the founder of the Betacowork coworking space in Brussels, a hub for entrepreneurs and professionals.
Based on his experience at Betacowork, Ramon has written The Coworking Handbook – the first ever manual on how to open and run a coworking space.
Ramon actively promotes tech startups in Belgium via Betagroup, Startups.be and the Global Entrepreneurship Week. He speaks regularly at international conferences about coworking and tech entrepreneurship. Ramon also writes for Loogic, the leading Spanish blog about web entrepreneurship.
What’s in the Show?
Bernie and Ramon talk about how Ramon got into coworking and his considerable experience. He shares insights into the role coworking is playing in the emerging digital economy and also talks about the mindset you need to make the most of this experience.
Ramon also talks about the kind of people working out of coworking spaces and what he says might come as a surprise to some.
